The child search functionality allows the user to search for a specific child or a set of children that match search criteria. The WVBTT Online data system displays the results of the search.
The system searches for children based on logic that uses “AND” logic and not “OR” logic when the user enters multiple search criteria. By entering additional search criteria the search results will be narrowing.
1.1 Child Search
Performs a child search for
the entered child ID.
Clears
all search criteria from the child search page.
Executes the child search.
The Common Searches are invoked by selecting the hyperlinked label.
1.2 Generic Child Search
By selecting a column heading, the WVBTT Online data system will re-sort the data grid. The data grid can be sorted ascending or descending by selecting the data grid column multiple times. The sort behavior applies to all data grids in the system.
By selecting the View hyperlink, the system navigates to the Child Summary Web page.
1.3 Most Recently Selected Search Results
For the Most Recently Selected Child query, the WVBTT Online data system displays the last 20 children accessed by the user.
1.4 Display children within the 45-day timeline
Sort child list by Days, descending so the kids that have been on the list the longest are at the top of the list.
A child is no longer displayed on the list once an initial IFSP period is entered into the system for them or the child is terminated or the child moves to the exceeds 45-day list. An Interim IFSP period does not count with regards to stopping the 45-day clock.
Day 1 is considered the day after initial Referral date.
The child list will only include active (Referral, Intake) children.
Children on the Approaching 45-Day Timeline list need to have an IFSP period established.
1.5 Children Exceeding 45-Day Timeline Search Results
Display children exceeding the 45 day timeline.
Sort child list by Days, descending, so the kids that have been on the list the longest are at the top of the list.
A child is displayed on this list when on day 46 from their initial referral date plus one day and no initial IFSP period has been defined and the child is not terminated.
A child is no longer displayed on the list once an initial IFSP period is entered into the system for them or the child is terminated. An Interim IFSP period does not count with regards to removing the child from the exceeding 45-day list.
The child list will only include active (Referral, Intake) children.
Day 1 is considered the day after initial Referral date.
Children on the Exceeding 45 Day list need to have an IFSP period established. These children are considered “late”. When the initial IFSP period is defined the RAU user will be prompted to provide an IFSP Delay Reason and IFSP Delay Notes.
1.6 Transferred Children Search Results
Display children transferred into the RAU.
Sort child list based on Transfer Date, descending so the child that has been on the list the longest is at the top.
Children on the Transferred list may include active (Referral, Intake, IFSP) and inactive (Terminated) children.
By selecting the Remove action at the row level, the system will remove the child from the Transferred Children list.
1.7 Pending Transition Search Results
Display children who are 270 days or less from their 3rd birthday (not counting the 3rd birthday) and (Transition Conference date has not been entered or the family has not declined the Transition Conference).
Exclude children whose initial Primary eligibility date is < 90 days from their 3rd birthday. The initial Primary eligibility date is tied to the initial IFSP Start Date.
Sort child list on Days until 3rd Birthday, ascending, so that the kids closest to their 3rd birthday are at the top of the list.
Once the Transition Conference date has been entered or the family has declined the Transition conference, the child would no longer be listed or if the child is terminated.
Only include active (non-terminated) children who are in IFSP status.
Children on the Pending Transition list will need to have an IFSP period established with a recorded Transition Conference date or a Family Declined Conference.
1.8 Children Nearing IFSP Expiration Search Results
Child in IFSP status.
Child is 60 days or less from an existing IFSP End Date.
Child falls off the list once their IFSP expires, the Child is terminated or a new IFSP period is established.
Do not include children where the IFSP period is marked as Compensatory.
Do not include children where the IFSP period is marked as Interim and it is the active IFSP period.
Children on the Nearing IFSP Expiration list will soon need to have a new IFSP period established.
1.9 Children Age 3 Not Terminated Search Results
Child is age 3 or greater.
Child is not in Terminated status.
Child does not have an active IFSP period.
Do not include children who have an IFSP period marked as Compensatory.
Child will fall off this list once they are terminated or they are assigned a new compensatory IFSP period.
Children on the Age 3 Not Terminated list should probably be terminated.
1.10 Children Less than Age 3 with Expired IFSP Search Results
Child is less than equal age 3.
Child is not terminated.
Child has an expired IFSP and no current IFSP.
Child falls off list once an IFSP period is assigned or the child is terminated.
Children on the Less Than Age 3 with Expired IFSP list should be terminated or have a new IFSP period established.
1.11 State Wide Indicator Search Results
The State wide indicator is intended to be used by the RAU to search for potential duplicate children in other RAUs.
The State wide indicator is only available to the RAU.
